Breast augmentation surgery is performed to enlarge or reduce breast size or to tighten sagging breasts. It can also be performed to correct asymmetry of the breasts, which can occur for several reasons, such as pregnancy and breastfeeding, excessive weight loss, or previous surgeries that have led to asymmetry and a difference in size and shape.
