Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetic retinopathy is a complication resulting from diabetes and irregular blood sugar levels, which leads to damage to the walls of the blood vessels that supply the retina. This can cause fluid leakage or bleeding inside the eye, so regular follow-up every 3–6 months is essential to prevent the progression of symptoms and the development of retinal detachment or glaucoma.
