Cataract Surgery
Cataracts are removed using phacoemulsification, a technique that employs ultrasound to break up the cloudy lens and remove it easily without anesthesia or sutures, in addition to the latest laser technologies and minimally invasive procedures for fast, guaranteed results and fewer complications. After cataract removal, world-class, guaranteed corrective lenses are implanted—either monofocal or multifocal, depending on the doctor’s diagnosis. Monofocal lenses provide clear vision for distant objects but require reading glasses for near vision. Multifocal lenses, on the other hand, provide clear vision for both distant and near objects without blurring, and in this case, the patient can do without glasses.
